June 13, 2026, COMMENTARY–Good morning. Grab your coffee and sit with me for a few minutes. While we’re out here busting our asses, paying ever-increasing taxes, and trying to survive in a city that’s becoming unlivable, billions of our dollars are being funneled into a system that’s making the problem worse, not better.
Just days ago, HUD suspended all federal funding to LAHSA after they burned through nearly a billion dollars since 2021, citing fraud and gross mismanagement.

Now let’s talk about how we got here.
In October 2023, Mayor Karen Bass did something no LA mayor had ever done. She appointed herself to the LAHSA Commission. Then she installed her close ally, Va Lecia Adams Kellum, in a cushy $430,000 a year job running the agency, more than she makes as mayor. Suddenly, the same agency she now personally controls started releasing numbers claiming homelessness was going down. Bass proudly paraded those numbers throughout her reelection campaign.
Yet, an independent RAND study blew the lid off it. LAHSA undercounted people living on the streets by 32%. Instead, data roughly points to homelessness actually hitting a four-year high.
So, let me ask you something. Was this done on purpose? Did she appoint herself and install her ally so she could control the numbers during her reelection?

Now let’s talk about the one man who’s been demanding real answer, Federal Judge David O. Carter.
This Marine veteran and true patriot judge has been calling out the waste, fraud, and corruption for years. He ordered massive audits and refused to look the other way. His relentless pressure helped lead to HUD finally cutting off the money.

Now let’s talk about the election.
Spencer Pratt was sitting strong in second place on election night. But as the mail-in and provisional ballots came in, the numbers mysteriously flipped, pushing him down to third behind Nithya Raman.
Spencer has since stated he’s not out of this fight. He’s working directly with the DOJ and FBI, saying he has a flood of evidence on election irregularities and the corruption tied to the homeless industrial complex.
Take a sip.
Gaslighting has become the new smog in LA. It’s everywhere, choking out the people and mucking up vision to what is really in front of everyone. Is the homeless industrial complex more complex than we thought? Are there levers controlling more than just a perpetuation of homeless people? Yet, the main M.O. is to question not.
What I’m seeing here is that the party of JFK, the party of the working man, has been hijacked by a communist ideology, with groups like the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) leading the charge, all hiding behind the mask of “progressivism.” Los Angeles loves calling itself a progressive city, but what we’re really watching is socialist Democrats using the same tactics Lenin, Stalin, and Mao used: propaganda, media control, misinformation, and viciously attacking anyone who dares to question them.
Are you awake? How was the coffee?
Hope you enjoyed the read. Now with this information, you can make wise decisions going forward.
