By James P. Bradley Photo U.S. Senator of Michigan Elissa Slotkin

Is Elissa Slotkin the Democrats’ ultimate Manchurian moderate? The kind who steps into the Senate with a warm Michigan farm-girl smile, preaching bipartisanship like it’s apple-pie scripture, while every rung of her ladder was built by the national-security establishment, big-money donors, and party machinery that never left her side? You decide.

Fresh off a razor-thin November 2024 victory over Tudor Dixon, she was bankrolled by a staggering $42 million dollars (Senate Majority PAC, EMILY’s List, J.J. Abrams max-out, Goldman Sachs partners, Pfizer/Moderna PACs, AIPAC, J Street). Slotkin is now the polished face of the Senate Democratic moderate wing. Yet, peel back the cornfield veneer and you find a résumé that reads like a CIA recruitment poster: three combat-zone tours in Iraq, Obama Pentagon, and White House NSC at the exact moment the U.S. was reshaping Ukraine’s prosecutor system while Hunter Biden collected up to eighty-three thousand dollars a month from Burisma.

Born in 1976 on a third-generation Jewish family farm in Holly, Michigan, Slotkin graduated Dartmouth in 1998, Columbia M.A. in 2002, learned fluent Arabic, and joined the CIA right after 9-11. By 2009, she was briefing Obama’s Pentagon as drone strikes escalated. From 2014-2017, she served on the National Security Council, helping craft energy-security policy that pumped U.S. aid into post-Maidan Ukraine during the same period when Hunter served on the Burisma board of directors. It’s 2018. Republican Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers retires. Slotkin parachutes into Michigan with $10 million in outside money, and then flips the seat to Democrat. She coasts to re-election twice, then raises another $42 million to take the Senate seat in 2024.

Her recent November 18th video lit a fuse, when Slotkin joined Senator Mark Kelly and four other veteran lawmakers from the U.S. House, including Jason Crow, Chris Deluzio, Maggie Goodlander, and Chrissy Houlahan. In a joint video aimed straight at the military and intel community, Slotkin said, “You took an oath to the Constitution… You have a duty to disobey unlawful orders under the UCMJ.” What was superficially broadcasted as “a textbook reminder” was challenged when Trump blasted Sloktin’s statement on Truth Social as seditious and punishable by death. The Pentagon opened a review of Kelly Sloktin ‘s reserve status. The FBI notified the group of a possible probe. Slotkin reported a bomb threat at her home, that was later confirmed as a hoax by Michigan State Police. The backlash manifested as Rocket fuel. ActBlue donations surged. EMILY’s List matched. Martyrdom sells.

Add the Shokin bombshell to this apparent chess move broadcast in the Uncensored Beat exclusive October 25, 2025, when I sat with Viktor Shokin, Ukraine’s fired Prosecutor General. (See full video: uncensoredbeat.com and YouTube). Shokin said, “Joe Biden was the main beneficiary of the problem [leading to Shokin’s removal as Prosecutor General of Ukraine] because he knew his son was involved and he was under investigation. And for him [Joe Biden] it was a very important action to do, which was to take from the wrung the person who was creating the problem. And the problem was Viktor Shokin.” Shokin calls it cover for Burisma.

Next, Part 2 of our Shokin interview, unveiling another side of the recent Ukrainian embezzlement scandal involving NABU and Zelenskyy. Followed, by Part 3, as we dig deeper into the U.S. Democratic Party’s influence in Ukraine. It contains a real kicker, about the Obama-Administration’s orders to not poke the bear too hard, to let Crimea and Donbas cool. Ukraine obeyed, as Putin dug into Ukrainian land. Per Shokin, that’s when the war started.

U.S. officials from the Obama-Biden administration call it diplomacy through sanctions, NATO drills, and no hot war. What of Slotkin? What does she have to do with this? She was in the room. Per NSC briefings she helped write, she pushed exactly that line, “de-escalate.”
