JULY 16, 2026, COMMENTARY–Since 2022, President Zelenskyy’s official platform UNITED24 has raised $3.68 billion from donors around the world.Official reports show that over 90% of that money, more than $3.32 billion, has been sent to the “Defense” category, flowing directly into the National Bank of Ukraine and then to the Ministry of Defense. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s top anti-corruption agencies, NABU and SAPO, have opened multiple investigations into corruption inside the Ministry of Defense during this same period.
This raises an important question: With over $3.3 billion flowing into the Ministry of Defense, how effectively is this money being tracked and accounted for? Donors have every right to ask for clear answers.
