Part 2: The Betrayal of California’s Constitutional Legacy
California once embodied America’s constitutional promise. It was a land where free markets drove innovation, from Silicon Valley’s birth to agribusiness dominance. Then, the state government served the people. Republican leaders like Reagan championed tax cuts, deregulation, and individual responsibility. These were values that powered prosperity and aligned with the Constitution’s vision. Today, progressive elites have eroded this legacy, imposing policies that mirror Marxist collectivism. Current state policies promote wealth redistribution through taxes, government control over industries, and cultural shifts prioritizing identity over liberty. Unfortunately, these state laws are reminiscent of Venezuela’s socialist downfall, where state overreach led to economic ruin.
Newsom keeps troubling ties to Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leaders. He’s met wth President Xi Jinping and established climate-focused MOUs with the CCP. His actions alarm citizens who value American sovereignty. Framed as diplomacy, these connections risk aligning California with a foreign regime that suppresses freedom. Such ties undermine the constitutional principles of self-governance that American voters defend as the citizen’s voice of America.
The Existential Threat of Proposition 50
Prop 50 allows Democrats to gerrymander congressional districts, potentially slashing Republican representation from 12 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives to as few as five. What happens after it passes? The voice of Californians in rural and suburban Republican strongholds like the Central Valley are silenced. Right now, Prop 50 maintains 51% voter support. These voters include Newsom’s base (74% of the 51% yes voters approve of him) of which a large subset of those yes on Prop 50 and pro-Newsom voters are made up of college-educated elites (60%). The measure exploits fears of “threats to democracy.” Rightly so, Prop 50 poses a betrayal of the guarantee of fair representation in both the U.S and State Constitution by rigging the system to drown out the American spirit of freedom.
Soros’s $10 million donation, part of a $70 million pro-Prop 50 war chest, is a red flag. His funding of “socialist-leaning” prosecutors are linked to crime spikes in cities like Los Angeles. This activity parallels his international efforts, like the color revolutions. He is accused of fueling crises like migration surges and U.S. unrest. For citizens who cherish America’s constitutional order, this signals an elite-driven plot to reshape California, sidelining the citizen’s voice of America.
Even former Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger opposes Prop 50. Yet, his influence sways only 12% of voters. The funding gap and media bias make this a desperate fight for constitutional fairness.

A Citizen’s Call to Defend America’s Soul
I end each article in this series with the same call. Despite victories like 2024’s Prop 36, which toughened crime laws with 70% support, the citizen’s voice of America in California hangs by a thread. As a independent conservative, I speak in support of citizens, not parties. I implore all who value our nation’s founding principles, rooted in liberty, fairness, and self-governance, to act. Prop 50 is an assault on the U.S. Federal and California State Constitutions’ promises of representation. If it passes, California’s constitutional spirit dies, replaced by unchecked progressivism that threatens our state and nation.
Citizens of America, rise up. Donate, mobilize, vote NO on Prop 50. Our constitutional legacy—the citizen’s voice of America—depends on it. The clock is ticking; defend our nation’s soul before it’s silenced forever.
